החודש (22-26 לינואר) נערכת בפריז תערוכת masion & objet ("בית וחפצים"). התערוכה הזאת שנערכת כל שנה בחורף היא הדבר החם בכל מה שקשור לתרבות עיצוב עכשווית. מבין כל האמנים-מעצבים המציגים בתערוכה, לכדו עייני את הסופר סטאר הספרדי, חיימה חיון (Jaime Hayon). הבחור מעצב כל דבר אפשרי, מצעצועים, קרמיקה ורהיטים ועד תאורה, טקסטיל וחללים כדוגמת בתי מלון, חנויות ומסעדות. הקיצר, ידו בכל ויד כל בו. מה שמדהים אצלו בעייני זה היכולת שלו להיות "פופי" ומלא חיים ובאותה נשימה, מינימליסטי ואלגנטי. כשרון זה אנדרסטייטמנט פה, מדובר בסוג של גאון. אז עדיין לא מאוחר, ינואר עוד לא נגמר ואני הכי פתוחה להצעות…
